Clapperboard Studios is a production company specialising in drama and driven by a passion for telling stories across every genre. It collaborates with established talent in the UK to support ambitious new ideas all the way to screen.

The company, led by Mike Benson, is partnered with Chalkboard TV and Storyboard Studios. It is part of the global iZen Group, which brings together production companies in various countries, including Zebra in Spain.

Its productions include the series The Winter Child (4 × 60’), Maxine (3 × 60’) and The Madame Blanc Mysteries, all of which were produced for Channel 5.

Clapperboard offers UK writers and directors a partnership model that recognises their key creative role by treating them as co-producers.
