Reel One Entertainment and CAPA Drama have announced a new partnership with Israeli media group Ananey Communications and its subsidiary Nutz Productions to develop and co-produce BAND OF SPIES (working title). This project marks the very first collaboration between the two Newen Group subsidiaries.

This 8-episode series will chronicle the Mossad’s pursuit of members of the Palestinian terrorist group Black September following the attack at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games—a tragic event that ushered in the era of modern terrorism and counter-terrorism.

Told from both the Israeli and Palestinian perspectives, BAND OF SPIES will focus on the lives of the Israeli agents and their targets, who unknowingly ignited a conflict that would reshape global geopolitics and international espionage for decades to come.

The true story has only recently come to light through newly declassified documents, which provided screenwriter Amir Mann with unprecedented material.
