Amazon Prime Video announces exclusive sports docu-series about the Paris Saint-Germain football club

This new docu-series will launch in 2020 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, celebrating the PSG 50th anniversary

Amazon Prime Video today announced a unique documentary series, following the most successful French football clubs in history, Paris Saint-Germain. Over four episodes, this title will offer a unique insight into what makes the club so special and unique: its values and the passion which drives the players, coach, president and the staff who are part of Paris Saint-Germain. Jointly produced by PSG TV and CAPA and directed by Manuel Herrero, this exclusive docu-series will launch exclusively in 2020 on Amazon Prime Video globally, except in China and Middle East.

This docu-series explores the heart of the Paris-Saint-Germain football club. With exclusive footage captured during the season and over the last 50 years and a level of access never granted by the club before, the docu-series includes interviews with previous and current players, coaches, supporters and executives from the club, as well as footage from inside the day-to-day life of the club and how it prepares for its high-stakes games on both the French and European football scenes. Following several iconic players from the past and present team, this unprecedented look behind the curtain will show audiences the highs, lows and challenges facing one of the most iconic football clubs in the world. The documentary series will recount how the club has developed over time, in an ever-changing international football landscape, whilst always keeping its core values of excellence, performance and Parisian flair intact.
