Filming will take place from June 24 to July 19, 2024 (episodes 1, 2, 3, and 4), before resuming on September 16, 2024 (episodes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10).
Summary:
After graduating at the top of her class from the police academy, Iris, 27, joins a police station in the South of France. Upon arriving at this colorful team of officers, she receives a less-than-warm welcome. Her extensive legal knowledge and insistence on rule enforcement don’t sit well with everyone, particularly with Victor, 54, her assigned partner—a solitary cop with outdated methods.
Despite their age and background differences, when Iris and Victor are assigned a case that seemed almost closed, they combine their skills to uncover that it’s not a simple car accident but a premeditated crime. As success brings the duo closer together, Victor soon discovers that Iris is not just anyone’s daughter… What secret from the past threatens to resurface?
Casting:

Note from Benoît Masocco (Creator and Producer of the Series):
A Priori… It’s Not What You Think… It’s a Crime Drama, but It’s Also a Comedy.
“A Priori” is a police duo… but it’s also a group of characters who are, at times, rivals and at others, allies.
“A Priori” is a series that plays with preconceived ideas and illusions… because in an era where rumors and fake news spread at the speed of a click, it’s important to scratch beneath the surface to better promote reconciliation… Reconcile the North and the South, the young and the old, the countryside and the cities, the police and the citizens…
It was with the same desire that I created the youth series ASKIP a few years ago.
Different audience, different tone, but the same goals: to move, to make people laugh, but also to tell the story of society in order to better understand and accept it.
Oh, and it’s a working title… A Priori!
